Great service, always very nice and courteous, and a sympathetic ear, the food was great, price-performance ratio definitely ok, the rooms are really cool and especially clean, the location is good, you have the train right around...

The trendy decor. The friendly efficient staff. The restaurant food was amazing.
The fur curtains are no good at all.A more vibrant and welcoming fabric and colour would be nicer for such a funy hotel. Also the curtains need to be washed regularly. They were very dirty.Showers need to be covered up all around because the water was just soaking up the bathroom area.

The location was great with incredible views. Moreover, the area was very vibrant. The restaurant was very clean with a good menu outside Marx Dormay metro station, we ordered excellant dishes.

convenient for metro & Gare du Nord; friendly reception staff; quiet location despite proximity to a busy street
dark lobby; design gimmicks; bath short & slow to run

Room size was good.
Attitude of staff was very poor and lacking. Lack of reception area and having to only use the bar was not suitable. Noise from bar area late at night was not acceptable. Breakfast service was inconsistent and poor, final day the area was very busy and staff did not know how to cope and look after us.Bar served top range product and charged accordingly without checking customer preference. Hence we questioned the bill and were told this was the only product served - this proved to be incorrect as per listed on their bar list, so we choose not to use the bar for the whole week - a large loss of revenue to the hotel as all 4 of us enjoy a good drink. Location very strange and not good.

room was confortable.
Finger print to enter the room. I refused, was all right. Public areas are very dark. Kind of nightclub atmosphere. Outrageous minibar rates. Staff was not professional, and forgot to order a taxi. Quite noisy street. No good value for your money, is my opinion.

I came, I saw, I reviewed
The stylish interior of this hotel drew me in, with fantastic rooms with comfy beds and great amenities. A night disturbed by noise levels and surrounding safety concerns, unfortunately, cast a shadow over the experience. The staff, while friendly, could improve on professionalism and responsiveness. Unique dining options were a plus, especially the quality of food.

The rooms were neat, new-fashioned with a shower, ideal for us.

I liked the originality of the hotel, the reception and the friendliness of the staff. The bed was very good!
I think the hotel needs a refresh: design is often quickly outdated, furniture is damaged, fury do not look very clean after 5 years. The neighbourhood is not so attrative although I had no problems.

The room was very clean
Ludicrous cost of mini bar, 270 Euro and no free coffee?????

Nice old style house, refurbished into a modern and fashion hotel. This is quite suprising to find such a modern and luxury hotel in the most popular area of Paris
Restaurant is good but not excellent. Rooms have a specific design but definitely too expensive for what it is. Service is standard.

The design, keyless access, there is an inspiring design book in the room as well as two DVDs with ambient music and several other goodies. The breakfast was good, with quality food.
WiFi was not reliable in the room as the signal was poor and the whole network had several outages during my stay. The design of the hotel, while beautiful, comprises compromises in functionality. The room features e.g. a design table with a chair, but it is totally uncomfortable to sit on longer than a few minutes. There is no closet for storage, jus a bunch of (design) hangers, making the room look very messy when used. Safe in the room did not work. There are not enough electricity plugs.

The hotel is ideally situated if you are using Gare du Nord/Eurostar train station in Paris. The hotel also offers a different experience to the normal hotel chain.
Aside from the exellent hotel manager who was both professional and helpful the general friendliness, professionalism and manner of the other staff could be improved upon.
